PLEASE READ EVERYTHING!
GUYS WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP IN A FEW AREAS THE STORE IS DOING GREAT BUT HERE’S WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU AND WHAT WE ARE DOING FOR OUR STAFF MANAGEMENT: Jesse, Kyle & Todd know many of you on a personal level and will continue to. Disrespect to any shift management or not fulfilling what is asked by them is not tolerated in any way whatsoever. Jaylen, Dyamond, Holly, Grace, and Camryn are our eyes and ears when we are not in the store. We trust them and they are family to us just are you are. The same thing goes for our friends at corporate. If you have any concerns, talk to Kyle or Jesse personally. PLEASE respect them as the overseers of Pickleman's Noblesville. You are expected to finish the checklist items assigned to you before you leave for a shift. Management relies on you to get those finished before you clock out. If we schedule you until a certain time, our managers need you to finish out what needs to be done past scheduled time if needed unless barring a dire situation. It’s extra money for you! JOLT/SCHEDULING: Everybody needs to have their availability set before we make the schedule. Management will have the schedule out by Monday the week before. We have turned the request time down to 7 days (hopefully working now, but might not work until the next schedule)for time/off, preferred schedule and availability, but it is on YOU as a good staff member to let us know when you are NOT available. Kyle has personally added every one of your phone carriers on top of your phone number and e-mail address to make sure you can receive jolt text/push messages and our staff e-mails. If we schedule you for a shift, you are expected to be here or have an approved change. Ramifications of not showing up or calling off for a scheduled shift may include removal from the schedule, loss of free meals, or (undesired by management) termination. We know things happen on the day of a shift, but we cannot continue to wing it and guess what your schedule is. CALL US 2 HOURS BEFORE AND LET THE MANAGER IN CHARGE KNOW YOU WON'T BE IN PLEASE! We all rely on each other here, speak with Jesse, Kyle, the MIC, or Raine if you are not sure how Jolt works or have scheduling questions. If you have an after-school commitment or don’t get home until a certain time you need to reflect that in your availability. If you don’t want to work after a long day of school activities, set to unavailable. We cannot maintain accommodations for preference when we don’t know when you can work or want to work. We can only see in Jolt what you have set it to. If you need to set your availability every week that is fine, you can repeat availability requests, ask for time off, etc. But we cannot continue to fix schedules if you can’t set Jolt correctly. You can ask off for certain times of the day as well. Please be constantly doing this to ensure a good schedule is made. The schedule/hours are prioritized by your availability during the store’s hours of operation. Management and openers/closers are going to receive more hours and blocked in first. If you are available to open (7 AM or close (around 11 to 11:30 right now), please adjust this in Jolt. 14- and 15-year-olds can work 7 AM to 7 PM on weekends until school is out. Please set availability for early morning if you want those shifts, there are only so many from shifts before 11 and 7 we can schedule. We can’t have under 16 past 7 PM during school nights. The 16+ staff has done a great job of getting us the waivers to work until 11. We are getting current staff into these positions now, and during summer if you want great hours set yourself into position to keep them! ON A LIGHTER NOTE: UPDATED FOOD POLICY: If you work 3 or more hours in a day you are allowed one of the following: One sandwich of any size or variety, OR; One salad of any size or variety, OR; One soup of any size or variety, OR Any one-topping or cheese pizza with choice of crust Any “Pick 2” meal This policy is a privilege, we appreciate all of your work launching the store. Free beverages are always available during your shift as well. Chips and cookies are currently excluded from this policy, as are the 10% discount while not working. We feel strongly that we want to feed you guys while working and are happy to implement this new change. The policy is subject to termination without notice, as well as adjustments. NEW TIP POLICY: All cash and credit card tips will be pulled and accounted for at the conclusion of both shifts and be held for you next the drawer or safe. Please retrieve your tips and leave your envelope in the store. Management is distributing the tips based off which shift (lunch/dinner) and how many hours worked per said shift. You can pick them up by the next day or your next shift. DO NOT TAKE ANY MONEY FROM THE DRAWER FOR TIPS. The staff has been earning awesome tips and it’s a great feeling for management to get your money back in your hands! Thank you so much for your hard work, PICKLEMAN'S NOBLESVILLE MANAGEMENT |
